FaceBotolift peptide® is a bioactive formulation designed to induce a Botox-like relaxation of facial expression muscles through a multi pathway neuromodulating mechanism, while preserving  physiological muscle function and natural facial expression.

The clinical effect of FaceBotolift is primarily mediated by Liftimax LF5™, supported by GABA, and is based on the simultaneous modulation of acetylcholine release, acetylcholine receptor activation, neuronal excitability, and neuromuscular junction organization, with secondary supportive effects on dermal structural integrity.

1. Modulation of acetylcholine release (presynaptic action) Liftimax LF5™ modulates neuromuscular transmission at the presynaptic level by interfering with the molecular machinery responsible for acetylcholine (ACh) release. By competitively inhibiting SNARE complex assembly, it reduces vesicular fusion and down regulates synaptic acetylcholine availability at the neuromuscular junction, resulting in controlled reduction of facial muscle activation.

2. Inhibition of acetylcholine receptor activation (postsynaptic action) Liftimax LF5™ exerts a postsynaptic neuromodulating effect by reversibly inhibiting nicotinic acetylcholine receptors on the muscle end plate, reducing ion channel opening, membrane depolarization and muscle  responsiveness to acetylcholine stimulation.

3. Modulation of neuronal excitability
Liftimax LF5™ modulates neuronal excitability through pathways related to endogenous enkephalins, reducing neuronal firing frequency and catecholamine release, thereby contributing to global down-regulation of neuromuscular stimulation.

4. Inhibition of neuromuscular junction organization (MuSK pathway)
